Have you had a rough day or week?
We all have them sometimes.
What can you do when you have a hard week?
What can you do when you are worn out?
20 Things to Do When Life is Wearing You Out
One – Come away with the Lord to a quiet place and rest.
Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat.
Two – Pause & Pray.
Look to the Lord. Seek him, lean into him, call on him, remember his instructions.
“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.”
Three – Journal.
I enjoy journaling, but it’s really great when you are just mentally exhausted.
Four – Turn it off (social media, tv…).
Five – Turn to God.
Six – Seek help and wise counsel.
Seven – Solicit prayers.
Eight – Take a mini vacation (if possible).
Nine – Bring on some laughter.
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
Ten – Listen to a good podcast.
Eleven – Schedule a relaxing massage.
Twelve – Go for a walk.
Thirteen – Sweat.
Fourteen – Do some Holy Yoga or Pilates.
Fifteen – Drink some tea (hot or cold) and peruse a magazine.
Sixteen – Read a Good Book.
Seventeen – Do something out of the ordinary.
Eighteen – Get a pedicure.
Nineteen – Take a Bubble Bath.
Twenty – Rest.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
These are some ways that I renew and recharge when I am worn out.

What would you add to my list?
